Case study
plakanie-jumti.lv: a flat roof that becomes a terrace
Most flat roofs are as big as the house below them and nobody ever walks on them. This company turns them into terraces. The site lets the owner watch it happen on their own kind of house.

The idea
The scene starts with a bare flat roof. Each section of the page adds one step: new waterproofing, pedestals and joists, decking, a glass railing along the parapet, a spiral staircase by the facade, planters and a pergola, and finally an evening with lights and a fire. The page ends with the message the client wants to leave: twice the outdoor space on the same house.
Choices, not one picture
Below the animation, an options section shows alternatives side by side: frameless glass or steel railing, spiral or straight stairs, a pergola or a sail for shade, different lighting. Owners can picture their own roof before the first site visit. A short note explains that some changes need a check of the roof's load capacity, and that the company helps with it.
